Course: Building Your Roadmap to Success: Aligned Curriculum and Assessments to Learning Standards
Description
This course module focuses on aligning curriculum to standards. Curriculum is a written plan that includes the goals for children's development and learning, the experiences through which children will achieve these goals, identification of what staff and parents do to help children achieve these goals, and the types of materials needed to support the implementation of the curriculum. If what is taught (the curriculum) is not aligned to what is expected (learning standards) then children will not meet the program exit expectations for their age level. Begin your year with a clear vision for what you and your children will achieve together.
